General Rules
The following rules pertain to the use of the facility.
  • Facility Request Forms must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to the event
  • There will be NO ALCOHOL.
  • There will be NO GLASS CONTAINERS.
  • There will be NO BICYCLES, VEHICLES, or PETS (with the exception of service related animals) in the pools or on the pool decks.
  • There will be NO GUM or BOBBY PINS allowed in the pool or on the pool deck.
  • No DIVING, RUNNING, or HORSEPLAY.
  • You must be out of the facility at the scheduled conclusion of your event, due to BACK-TO-BACK scheduling.
  • Weather Policy: In the event of a thunderstorm the pool will close 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder or sight of lightning and will close for heavy rain. We will also close the pool if temperature or wind chill is below 45 degrees.
  • Lifeguards: Following approval of facility request, lifeguards will be scheduled through the Department of Recreational Sports. Cost for lifeguards is $15/hour per lifeguard. Rec Sports will determine how many guards are needed based on activities and number of participants.
  • If there is any damage to the facility and/or the facility is not cleaned properly, the cost of the repairs and/or clean-up will be charged to the responsible group.
  • The Department of Recreational Sports and the Division of Student Affairs are NOT LIABLE for any charges incurred by the group reserving the facility, or injury to participants or any one hired for the event by the group reserving the facility.
