Our Mission
The Department of Recreational Sports at the University of Florida provides an opportunity for every student to participate in an athletic or recreational activity on a voluntary basis. Your enjoyment as a participant or spectator is one of the most important goals of our Department. Through participation, it is hoped that each individual will develop an appreciation of the worthy use of leisure time and a wholesome attitude toward physical activity both while in college and in the future years. Whether you are an occasional participant, or an active daily competitor, Recreational Sports has something for everyone.
