The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor course is to train instructor canidadtes to teach the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED courses by developing their understanding of how to use the course materials, how to conduct training sessions, and how to evaluate participants' progress. Certification is current for 2 years from the course completion date. This course is designed for individuals who want to pursue a job as a First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor. The course sessions take approximately 13 hours to complete. Participants MUST attend all class dates and successfully pass a pre-course skills evaluation and written test.

Prerequisites:

  • ​Be at least 16 years of age on or before the final scheduled lesson of this course.
  • Possess a current American Red Cross Adult CPR certificate (or equivalent).
  • Successfully complete the online introduction for the First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor course.
  • Successfully complete the Pre-Course skills session.

Session A; January 18th - January 25th:

  • Thursday, January 24th: 4 pm - 9 pm
  • Friday, January 25th: 4 pm - 9 pm
