TRiP and RecSports introduce the new Outdoor Leadership Course available through the College of Education. This course takes place during the Spring 2016 semester. We will teach you the fundamentals of becoming a wilderness guide. We will accept 20 students into the course, and each student who successfully completes the course will have the opportunity to become a TRiP Leader and an employee of RecSports.

Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Certification
Students will participate in the WFR course during Spring Break
February 27 – March 5, 2016
The course will take place in Gainesville, Florida.
3-day Canoe trip on the Suwanee River, Florida
The class will split into 2 groups. Trips go out on:

8-day Immersion Training consisting of rock climbing and backpacking in Alabama
April 30 – May 7, 2016
Weekly class time: Fridays, Period 6 – 8 (12:50 – 3:50pm) at Southwest Recreation Center & Lake Wauburg
