Cumberland Island is a beautiful National Seashore located off the southern coast of Georgia. What makes Cumberland so unique is that it provides its hikers with both a shaded inner wilderness and a pristine surrounding beach. The island is home to wild horses which you will most likely see roaming the island freely. You will travel to the island on a ferry, spend the weekend backpacking the inner trails of the island, camp out at a backcountry site under a canopy of trees, and hike back to the ferry on the 3rd day. We will be departing from the CORE building early Friday morning and will be arriving back late Sunday evening. Get ready for a refreshing and gorgeous get-away!
