RecSports Personal Training offers individualized programs tailored to your health and fitness goals. Our certified personal trainers possess the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to design safe and effective fitness programs that will assist you in your fitness journey. We work with everyone and design programs for all aspects of physical fitness including weight loss, flexibility, sport performance, and strength to name a few. We continually develop our trainers through cutting-edge education, equipment specific training, and hands-on learning in order to provide you with an optimal experience.

The paperwork includes a Health History Questionnaire – please bring any relevant information regarding medications, injuries or other health-related issues. If you have had any serious injuries or medical conditions you will need to have your doctor approve your participation in a prescribed fitness program – please bring your doctor’s contact information with you. Payment in full is required at the time your paperwork is completed. Cash, check, credit and debit cards are accepted. All Personal Training packages require that you complete an assessment at the Fitness Assessment Center. The assessment will provide the Personal Trainer with baseline fitness and musculoskeletal information used to individualize your training program. The assessment is included with all Personal Training packages.
This 10 week personal training certification preparation course will prepare participants for the nationally accredited (NCCA) National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certification Exam. This class consists of educational presentations and hands-on activities related to core fitness areas including: exercise program design, human movement science, assessment of posture and function, liability and risk, nutrition, and behavior and communication. Although this course is not for academic credit, it does require a substantial time commitment both inside and outside of class. No prior experience is required.
