Intramural Sports employs more than 200 students each semester! We take great pride in the success we've had with the training and development of all employees. Officials/Scorekeepers: Intramural Sports hires approximately 200+ officials and scorekeepers each semester. Pay rates begin for officials at $7.50/hour for all sports and are $6.67 for scorekeepers in softball, flag football and basketball. Full training is provided and no experience is necessary. This is a great position which allows you to meet lots of people and be active with sports. Many of our former employees are now officiating high school and college athletics. Supervisors: Intramural Sports Supervisors are responsible for the entire intramural facility during the evening hours. Pay rate is $7.75/hour. Officiating & scorekeeping experience is required. Program Assistants: Intramural Sports Program Assistants are responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating of supervisors, officials and scorekeepers. Previous officiating and/or scorekeeping experience is requried.
Graduate Assistants: Intramural Sports Graduate Assistants are responsible for scheduling all team and individual sports. Each graduate assistant is given a major sport and a few minor sports to coordinate throughout the semester. The pay is $10,000/academic year and full tuition waiver. Previous intramural experience as an official, supervisor, program assistant or their equivalents is required.
