The inaugural Madden Tournament was held Friday, January 30, 2009.
Inaugural Madden Champion Crowned
Congratulations to Gus Barrazueta, Inaugural Intramural Madden X-Box Champion! After five hours of inspired play, Gus Barrazueta emerged victorious, defeating each of his opponents with precision and class. Playing as the Cowboys, Gus deftly manipulated his offensive and defensive sets to take advantage of his opponentsâ?? weaknesses. This yearâ??s tournament had some great match-ups along the way to the finals, including several clashes of the Cowboys against the Cowboys and even a few overtime games. Overall, the tournament was a success and intramurals looks forwards to hosting more tournaments of its kind in the future.
UF intramural sports would like to thank all of the participants who came out and competed in the first-ever Madden Tournament. In addition, UF intramurals would like to thank Best Buy, for allowing us to use their equipment so that our tournament could be a success!
