Official's Informational Sessions
This 30-minute sports specific session is for anyone who is interested in officiating. Topics include what to expect as an official, training dates, and payroll procedures. This session is optional but is highly recommended as it provides necessary information for new officials.
Rules Clinics
These clinics are designed to teach officials the specific University of Florida Intramural rules of the specified sport. All rules are covered as no experience is necessary to officiate. Clinics last anywhere from an hour to two hours and include a rules test. Hiring status is determined on the number of officials needed, experience, and scoring on the rules test. All rules may be found on the specific sport pages for reference. This session is mandatory for all interested officials.
Sport Field Clinics
The field clinics are designed to give all hired officials hands on experience before intramural play begins. Topics include proper mechanics, positioning, and actual game time experience via practice games. The field clinics are mandatory.
