Weekend Warrior: Strength Training for Women

Equipment: Bench Press, Squat Rack, Barbells, and Plates
This workshop will introduce women to the basics of strength training. We will focus on the “big three” barbell exercises: squat, bench press, and deadlift as well as variations of each of these lifts. Participants will also be able to construct a simple training program targeted at their specific goals.

With equipment ranging from kettlebells to plyo boxes, this workshop will highlight the benefits of training for power and highlight several exercises used for successful training.
