We will pack our canoes with all of our gear for 5 days on the water and journey along a 50-mile stretch of the wild & scenic Buffalo National River. Each night we will camp at a different spot. There will be plenty of time for swimming in the turquoise waters and gazing at beautiful bluffs & sparkling stars.

This trip is made for all experience levels. Whether this is your first time canoeing/camping, or you’re a seasoned paddler, this trip will surely be an unforgettable experience. Our stretch of the river will include a few Class II rapids!

It is important to note that this trip is considered to be primitive. That means while we are on our river adventure, there will be no running water, electricity or toileting facilities. Our lodging accommodation will be tents! Don’t worry, we will carry plenty of food and water with us and you’ll be rewarded on our last night with a hot shower. This trip will truly get you back to nature.

Feel free to contact Jacob Poulalion at Jpoulalion@ufsa.ufl.edu with any questions.
