UF RecSports offers a variety of swim lesson options for individuals of all ages to learn to swim. Youth lessons are offered seasonally, from March – October. Adult lessons are offered year round. All swim lessons are taught by our certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors.

Spring Session Information:
All youth sessions include 8; 30 minute long classes. Youth weekday classes meet twice a week for 4 weeks on Tuesday & Thursday.
All adult sessions include 4; 30 minute long classes. Adult classes meet once a week for 4 weeks on Tuesday OR Thursday.

Location & Parking:
All youth group lessons take place at Florida Pool, located by Student Recreation and Fitness Center. The closest parking is available in Murphree area or by Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Murphree area parking requires a UF parking decal 24/7. Parking by Stephen C. O’Connell center decal restrictions are lifted in the evenings. Parking restrictions and availability are subject to change. Please refer to Transportation And Parking Services for all up to date parking information.
Adult group lessons take place at Florida Pool or the O'Connell Center pool. Location varies depending on the season. Pay attention to location when registering for a session.
