The following classifications are eligible for a membership
University of Florida students, currently enrolled in classes and who have paid the Activity & Service Fee, are allowed access to the recreation and fitness centers.
University of Florida student spouses/partners are eligible to join the recreation and fitness centers by paying the appropriate fees and by obtaining a Gator 1 Card.
Previously enrolled students and recent graduates are eligible to join the recreation and fitness centers at the student rate for no more than one semester after their most recent semester of enrollment.
Students enrolled in off-book, online, distance education, residency, or other University of Florida academic programs which do not require the payment of A&S fees are eligible to purchase a membership to the recreation and fitness centers by paying the appropriate fees.
Newly Admitted Applicants are defined by the University of Florida as recently admitted traditional students who have yet to attend or register for courses at UF. They are eligible to purchase a membership to the recreation and fitness centers by paying the appropriate fees.
Newly Admitted UF Online Applicants are defined by the University of Florida as recently admitted degree-seeking UF Online students who have yet to attend or register for UF Online courses. They are eligible to purchase a membership to the recreation and fitness centers by paying the appropriate fees.
Faculty, Staff and their spouses/partners are eligible to join the recreation and fitness centers by paying the appropriate fees. Spouse/Partners must obtain a Gator 1 Card to be eligible for a membership.
Alumni of the University of Florida are eligible to join the recreation and fitness centers by paying the appropriate fees and by obtaining a Gator 1 Card. Alumni must purchase a membership to participate in Intramural Sports.
Affiliates are eligible to join the recreation and fitness centers by paying the appropriate fees.

Membership Questions
Can I renew my membership?
Most memberships will not be up for renewal for a few months. However, if you would like to renew:
- Login to RS Connect
- Click the Memberships icon
- Click Renew Memberships
- You will be directed to your membership profile to renew eligible memberships
Please note, payroll deductions cannot be renewed online at this time. Please email RSMemberServices@ufsa.ufl.edu if you wish to renew your payroll deducted membership.
