Camp Counselors facilitate and lead youth camps and programs within UF RecSports, which includes activities pertaining to sports, arts, and outdoor recreation. As a camp counselor, you will

Youth Programs Leadership Course
The Youth Programs Leadership Course is a semester-long experiential learning course created to train future individuals looking to work in youth programs at UF. This course trains students in the basics of the characteristics of today’s youth, building community, group facilitation principles, identifying risks within youth programming, and curriculum design. This course is a mixture of lecture, discussions and experiential learning.

- Time: Tuesdays 2:30pm - 4:30pm
- Location: River Rise at Center for Outdoor Recreation
- Lab Fee: $50 (includes guest speakers and EpiPen Administrator Certification)
