Cumberland Island is a beautiful National Seashore located off the southern coast of Georgia, famous for its wild horses! You will travel to the island on a ferry, spend the day backpacking the island, walk along the beach, camp out at a backcountry site under a canopy of trees. Bring your bathing suit just in case you feel like taking a swim! We will depart Friday morning and will return Sunday evening. Get ready for a refreshing and gorgeous get-away!

AMENITIES:

• Backcountry camping
• No electricity
• No running water
• No flushing toilets
• No showers

CHALLENGE LEVEL = LOW

This trip includes hiking with little elevation change and requires a minimum level of physical exertion. All CORE trips include instruction on basic backpacking skills.

REFUND POLICY:

1. Trips can not be transferred.
2. Trip refunds will be granted only if:
   1. Trip is cancelled by CORE.
   2. A paid replacement has been found.
   3. A $10 base processing charge or 15% of the registration price, whichever is greater, will be assessed.
3. Replacement requests must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled service offering start date.
4. Participant has documented medical circumstances preventing participation.
