The InMotion Center offers free, comprehensive Fitness Assessments to broaden your understanding of your health and fitness goals. Our four unique assessments are based around your goals and collect baseline measurements of your current strength, flexibility, and coordination. Free Fitness Assessments can be completed at any point during the semester to help you establish attainable goals and track your progress!
All assessments include motivational interviewing, blood pressure/heart rate, and height/weight/body composition measurements. See the table below for what to expect within each assessment.
With every fitness assessment, you will have the opportunity to take an InBody 270 Scan. This uses Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) to estimate body water, fat free mass, and fat mass as well as a segmental lean muscle analysis. Tests must be at least 8 weeks apart to see change.
