Boating at Lake Wauburg
- All boating is dependent on weather and equipment availability. Wind, rain, and lightning conditions may create temporary closures.

- The following boats are available for rental:
- Single Kayak – 1 person
- Double Kayak – 2 people
- Stand-Up Paddleboard – 1 person
- Canoe – up to 3 people
- Pedal Boat – 2-4 people
- Jon Boat – up to 4 people
- Hobie Cat Sailboat – up to 4 people
- Sailing Certification Required, ask Staff for more information
- FJs – through UF Club Sailing
Sailing at Lake Wauburg
- Lake Wauburg has Hobie Cat Wave sailboats available for rental. Sailing is first come, first serve during operational hours.
- Sail Test
- Successful completion of a Sail Test is required to check out a Hobie Cat Wave Sailboat.
- Sail Tests take place at North Shore from Wednesday – Friday between 12 p.m. –4:30 p.m.
- Tests are first come, first serve and depend on staff availability.
- Prep for your Sail Test
- Tests comprise of a written and practical portion.
