Are you ready to experience UF RecSports? Here's what to know before you come for your first visit. Feel free to notify a staff member that it's your first time and we can provide a tour of our spaces/equipment, as well as assist with any questions you may have. See you soon!
1. SIGN YOUR WAIVER
- Visit rsconnect.recsports.ufl.edu.
- Select “Log In” in the top right corner. Use your Gatorlink username and password (without @ufl.edu) to sign in.
- In the top right corner, there will be a notification bell icon with a number over it, click this.
- Click the “Facility Access Waiver,” scroll through and read, then sign waiver by selecting the gray box.
- Click “Sign Now.”
2. DOWNLOAD THE RECSPORTS APP
Download our app and scan your unique barcode to access RecSports facilities. Stay connected with hours of operation, real-time cameras and counts, upcoming event information, and more. With the UF RecSports app, register for fitness classes, request custom services, join an intramural league or sport club, and plan your next adventure with Outdoor Recreation. Allow push notifications to helpful updates like facility closures and special events.

4. CHECK OUR HOURS & POLICIES
- Occasionally our schedule will change due to holidays and academic breaks. Visit RecSports Hours for the current operating schedule.
- Refer to the Facilities Policies for additional information before arriving.
5. TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING
- Scooter, bike, and vehicle parking areas are adjacent to our on-campus facilities. Reference the UF Parking Map to find the closest lot for your UF parking permit.
- Fare-free bus rides are available for students, faculty, and staff with a valid GatorOne ID. For further details regarding the RTS bus system and app, click here.
- Please note, UF Environmental Health & Safety prohibits the storage of bicycles, mopeds, motor scooters, motorcycles, or any other fuel or electric powered vehicle in University of Florida buildings.
6. LOCKER ROOMS & WHAT TO BRING
Locker rooms are available at Southwest Recreation Center and Student Recreation & Fitness Center. Day lockers are provided with a built-in lock to keep your items secure during your visit.
- We recommend bringing your own towel as a towel service is not available at this time.
- Bring a water bottle to cool down. Note: beverages must be in a closed container.

8. Schedule a Welcome Walk-Through
- If interested, take advantage of our free 45-minute Welcome Walk-Through at Southwest Recreation Center and learn how to get the most out of your membership.
