Explore the majesty of Nantahala Forests before taking off to raft the Nantahala River on the adventure of a lifetime. We’ll camp and hike for two days where we’ll teach you everything you need to know about backpacking! Then, on Sunday we’ll spend the day splashing on the gorgeous Nantahala River! The trip will leave early in the morning on Friday and return late Sunday evening.

REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

  • Group camping equipment (tents etc.)
  • Surfing equipment
  • All meals (usually vegetarian)
  • TRANSPORTATION
  • Experienced Guides

REGISTRATION DOES NOT INCLUDE:

AMENITIES:

  • Backcountry camping
  • No electricity
  • No running water
  • No flushing toilets
  • No showers

CHALLENGE LEVEL = LOW

No previous experience is necessary for this trip and it requires a minimal level of physical exertion. All CORE trips include instruction on basic paddling skills.

REFUND POLICY:

  1. Trips can not be transferred.
  2. Trip refunds will be granted only if:
    1. Trip is cancelled by CORE.
    2. A paid replacement has been found.
    3. A $10 base processing charge or 15% of the registration price, whichever is greater, will be assessed.
  3. Replacement requests must be made at least 2 weeks prior to the scheduled service offering start date.
  4. Participant has documented medical circumstances preventing participation.
