CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

Our Membership Services Team manages all membership sales and passes, as well as Personal Training and Massage Therapy appointments.

Area Specific Job Responsibilities

• Complete point of sale transactions for memberships, guest passes and spectator passes
• Complete point of sale transactions for personal training, massage therapy, nutrition counseling, Olympic lifting and small group training
• Schedule appointments for massage therapy, nutrition counseling, fitness assessments and Olympic lifting test outs
• Administer client intake paperwork for personal training, massage therapy, nutrition counseling, fitness assessment and small group training clients
• Utilize RecSports software and other computer applications to complete transactions
• Deliver exceptional customer service in answering participant questions about all areas of RecSports
• Serve as support staff for new hire paperwork and payroll approval
• Serve as a representative at various outreach events

RecSports Team Member Responsibilities

• Develop professional relationships with co-workers, participants and guests
• Uphold and exceed the expectations of the Cornerstones of RecSports Service: accountability, anticipating needs, attitude, and atmosphere
• Demonstrate a desire to learn and apply knowledge as a RecSports ambassador
• Take ownership of RecSports facilities and programs by exhibiting a responsible work ethic
• Promote and maintain cleanliness and appearance within and surrounding RecSports facilities
• Enforce RecSports policies and procedures to promote participant safety and satisfaction
• Respond to all emergency situations and adhere to established protocol including pre- and post- incident procedures
• All RecSports employees are expected to abide by the department-wide accountability process that clarifies shared expectations and standards in effort to best serve our patrons, develop each team member, and prepare student employees for future career endeavors

Requirements/Qualifications

• First Aid, CPR, AED certification or ability to attain it within first 30 days of employment
• Availability to work 10-15+ hours a week, Monday through Friday, in 2-4 hour shifts
• Availability to work between 8am and 8pm
• Current or previous RecSports employment experience preferred
